Rules
- It is recommended you use the current version, Neverputt 1.6.0, in these competitions
- Only scores made in the current version of each course that beat par are accepted into the rankings
- Scores made with the previous version of any hole will be tagged to indicate that they are no longer valid in the current version (if the changes break compatibility with the methods used). Such scores can be beaten by any birdie (or better) of the new version
- Scores which can be achieved only in multiplayer (due to switches) are not officially accepted into the competitive rankings
- Videos are very highly recommended, as this is currently the only way to time a video. Video-less submissions will be assigned a default time of 59:59
Tips and Tricks
- To enter a particular hole, type in the number you wish to advance to (or fall back from) and hit ENTER. There is currently a complication to this trick: Scores are still kept track of even if you use this trick. You must exit the current game (but not the program) to reset these scores
- Although one is welcome to play an outdated course in Neverputt 1.6.0, they should be aware of lighting issues that will likely develop if they do not recompile the levels
